How It Works
Many people who have never been to therapy before may feel a bit confused before their first session. It's completely normal to be unsure about what to expect, given the variety of professionals in the mental health field, such as psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and coaches. Also, due to the many myths and stereotypes you might be familiar with, e.g. from internet or television.
So,
what should you expect when visiting a psychotherapist? If you choose
to work with me (or any other therapist), don't expect me to solve your
problems instantly or give you direct advice. Therapy is a collaborative
process where your active participation is crucial. Together, we will
engage in conversations that help define your goals, uncover your
resources, and identify the answers you already have within yourself. I
will be delighted to guide you through this process.

Remember, you are the foremost expert on your own life. There is no universal recipe for happiness. You know what works best for you, even if you're not fully aware of it right now. I am here to help you realize that.
During the first session, we will clarify your goals and determine if my approach is a good fit for you, so by its end, you can decide whether to continue with subsequent sessions. I primarily use solution-focused therapy methods, although I am also available to incorporate hypnosis if requested. My overall approach is grounded in trust, respect, and creating a safe, non-judgmental space.
